We're in and lovin' it. Finally rid of Deloss Dodds and those ut pukes. In Aggieland the University of Tennessee is TU in caps, texas university is never capitalized an is done ut with the u first, which denies them the moniker of Texas University as in only. Doing the same thing the Missou guys did in another post. The article is a little shy on the student numbers, it is more like 56000 now. We are top 10 in research grants and the amount of research done at TAMU. Hope the link works. www.athlonsports.com/college-football/sec-football-getting-know-texas-am

Always respected A&M a lot, and it is awesome that we get to enter the SEC together. Cheers!

First off, a welcome to you as well, Aggie fan. Definitely making it a priority to get to Kyle Field ASAP. Found it interesting that A&M hasn't beaten an SEC team since 1995. Can that be right?

Welcome and we look forward to another easy victory at Kyle Field for the 3rd year in a row. We have been lucky enough to have some success against A&M over the years although last year's overtime win was definitely not easy. Probably will not play them much after 2012 when our West Rival will be Arkansas.

Sportshorn When the move to the SEC began coming down, everybody that I knew of and talked to was afraid it would be OK or one of the other unwanted schools that would be moving with us. Everybody that I talked to wanted Mizzou to be the team. Glad it was you, and welcome to the SEC.

More so than say West Virginia in the Big 12-2-1-1+2.

Yep the closest Big 12 school to West Virginia is Iowa State. I wonder how that will work out for them. I also find it funny that they feel that we upgraded our conference by throwing out the rubbish that didn't want to be here for TCU, and WVU. Let's look at the moving around as far as the Big 12 is concerned shall we. They lost Texas A&M, Mizzou, Nebraska, and Colorado. They gained only TCU, and West Virginia. Ok A&M for TCU is a wash basically. But, No way is West Virginia a wash for Colorado, Nebraska, and Mizzou. And, yes I am being nice in my statement.

I see Texas A & M gaining the respect of SEC faster than MIZZOU. MIZZOU is going to be another Vanderbilt that has a descent basketball team and every few years they may pull out an okay football season. A&M is going to be strong in a year or two and I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. I am thanking the football Gods for MIZZOU being in our conference.

That's in the Big 12, this is SEC and that claim of the winningest college football program the last 6 years is a joke. A&M is going to take so much more talent now that they are not competing against TX and OU. So in a few years you will see their program be elite where MIZZOU is going to be the next Vanderbilt. Just wait and See

gamecock, I think you are bing a little unrealistic about Mizzou being another Vandy. They have been pretty tough the last few years. Yes A&M has a lot funds, but until recently they haven't been willing to part with it, and yes we will be giants. With that said Missou is never a push-over. One of the few programs in the Big 12-4+2 I could ever respect.

This is smack talk, not asinine talk. TAMU has out recruited MU for years according to the recruiting sites. Yet Pinkel owns TAMU and no disrespect to the EAST but the WEST is the Daddy of the division. A&M picked as a sleeper, MU smacks them in their own house by over 20 points. A&M picked to win the Big 12, they barely get over .500. Yet you want to rag on MU all the time and say they played in the weak Big 12. Even though Pinkel is 7-3, or 8-2 in the last 10 meetings against TAMU. Please talk smack with facts, thanks.

I love your double standards, TAMU played OU and UT, yes in the Big 12 the north and south schools never played each other when they were separated and when they had a round robin format. SMH
