I think it is safe to say that many of the other schools will be starting a relative unknown at QB. Florida, Ole Miss, Miss. State etc all breaking in new signal callers and it will remain to be seen if one of them can rise to the top this season. I included Mettenberge from LSU on this list because he is a highly touted Georgia transfer and will surely be an upgrade over Jordan Jefferson.

Franklin's 839 rush yards and 13 TD's definitely makes him the best duel threat in the conference. Passing stats were also solid 2,700 yards and 20 TD's.

mccarron and it isn't even close imho. after throwing for 1,000 less yards than Wilson? i look more into it than passing yards and he posses great game managing skills.

Murray and Wilson are the frontrunners, but McCarron is pretty solid and he doesn't have to win games for Bama.
